Western Technical College Graduation
April 2017
La Crosse, WI
Here is the real reason we made the trip to Wisconsin!
Leroy graduated from Western Technical College,
in La Crosse, WI, with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal. That is way too
cool! This is in addition to the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics that he already
received a few years back.
Let’s just say we are more than a little proud of
him.
It was a great event that went on for about two
hours. It was neat to see all of the graduates’ along with their families and
friends, sharing their proud moment in time.
“Being a Western alum means you’re connected
long after you graduate. The Alumni Association maintains our sense of
community with events, communications, and services to help you develop your
career and bring your college experience with you no matter where you land.
The graduation had special meaning as the
outgoing school President was participating in his last ceremony. He has been
there for 28 years and will leave big feet to fill. The new President was also
there to honor the graduates.
“Once a Cavalier, Always a
Cavalier”
The gold cord designates High Honors graduates
(3.5 grade point average or higher). The gold stole indicates membership in the
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Very cool!
