Southwest Scenes

Desert Views

I decided it was about time to add some images out here. These are a few images shot in and around Southern Arizona. Some are from the backyard while others are a bit further out. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think.

Incredible talent there, Mr. Brown, the detail, the focus, the brilliance of color. Exceptional!

Buenos Noches,

It is always such a pleasure to see a new collection from you.

Some people will say that the desert is an ugly place. From now on I will save my words and simply direct these nay-sayers to your blog.

From the smallest cactus flower to the mightiest sentinel saguaro; hummingbird at its dinner to a proud Harris' hawk on the lookout for prey, your love of the desert and its many beauties are clear for all to see.

Thank you so much for sharing your work with all of us.

Con amor,

Athena

From a San Manuel HS grad, who became a UA Mining Engr, and now lives in Chicago: Bravo! Only one problem - I got so caught up looking at your southwest photos, and mineral photos, (not to mention the detour I took by clicking the link to the Miner's Story Project), that I am now hopelessly behind schedule for finishing my chores for this fine Sunday afternoon.

Keep up the good work. These are great photos, and I thank you for sharing them. It's nice to get a healthy dose of Southern Arizona as I sit at my computer in Chicago!

Sincerely,
Dave B

Glad that I am able to provide some entertainment and keep folks from doing too much work.
