Decided it was time to add a few images out to the blog. Many are in and around Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Others are on adventures through out the state or right in the backyard. I think it is safe to say that all are shot in Arizona.
The night blooming Cereus shots are all from a recent trip to Tohono Chul park in Tucson. That was too cool as they stay open until midnight one night per year so that folks can enjoy the blooms that wilt away during the following day.
The key to this for me is getting out to shoot some images. Summer heat may put a damper on outdoor shots, but I am pretty sure I will find a way to add a few images out here. Working at the computer will keep me out of the heat. J Hope you enjoy…

How do you expose those night blooming flowers? Do you use a flash? Spotlight?
Most excellent! Aren't desert blooms just amazing?! Wonderful photos.

Buenos Noches,
I see what you mean about the 'triple exposure' blossom. I think it captures the mystery and moon-like quality of the flower.
How wonderful that you, like Ansel himself, are willing to go out to find the photos!
Thank you for sharing with all of us.
