Beer and Buffalo Bill

A recent run to the Denver area found me visiting Golden, CO for the day. A fine experience captured in photographs.

Coors Brewery – Golden, CO

Worth the time to visit and explore!

“Since 1873 the Coors brewery has thrived on a legacy of quality, innovation and customer service. The tour showcases the company’s history and passion for brewing.

Your tour takes place in the world’s largest single-site brewery. The brewery experience includes a 30-minute self-paced tour highlighting our malting, brewing and packaging processes. Cool off in the “fresh beer room," where visitors sip a cold sample and rest on ice-cube benches in a refrigerated room.”

Make sure to explore more of Golden, CO.

You also get a fantastic view of Golden, CO and the surrounding area.

“Visit the one and only grave of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Located in Lookout Mountain Park, part of the Denver Mountain Parks system, the site overlooks the natural beauty of the Great Plains and the Rockies, attracting over 400,000 annual visitors.”

I even got to watch a terrorist drill going on at the Denver Airport while waiting for my return flight. A fine end to a fine trip.
